Projects

Old Place

Grade II listed 16th century house with later additions.

I was asked to repair and paint the front and side windows, woodwork and walls to the original sections of the property. Substantial repairs were needed to the windows, with new sill replacements and resin repairs along with a new casement for one of the windows that was beyond economical repair, although the original crown glass pane was saved and conservation glass used for the others.

One 1st floor window would have been written off by many, but I managed to save it for many years to come along with replacing the lead flashing underneath, and painted to match.

Interior

Various internal painting has been done but in particular I was tasked with bringing the very well used kitchen units back to their former glory, carrying out repairs from water damage and general wear and tear.
