Woodley House

Built just after the 1st World War, this is a lovely farmhouse on the outskirts of Wivelsfield Green.

It required a full external repaint, with the original fascias, soffits and gable ends needing to be stripped back to wood, showing off how good they would have originally looked. Paint colour was matched to the new upvc windows that had been installed.

The front door and porch needed extensive repairs. The door didn’t look too bad until it was stripped of paint and old filler and revealing lots of rot hidden behind mouldings.

Repaired with resin and spray finished, along with stripping of paint to the wonderful brass door knocker and handle.

Internally I have also redecorated many rooms, the master bedroom especially being a lovely one. A full decoration to woodwork and walls finished with a Sandberg wallpaper.
