About Laurie

I started painting and decorating in 2003, working for a small local company. This gave me the basic knowledge and the experience in a wide variety of properties from past to present day. Since setting up the company as it is today, I have undertaken extensive training from paint spraying, wallpapering, to resin repairs.

After many years in the trade, heritage properties are where I have found the most enjoyment and where I can put my skills and patience to best use. I am now progressing through a Diploma in historic building conservation at West Dean college, to further my education and help me to look after these precious buildings.

Sustainability

Sustainability is not about trying to sell a product, acquire a competitive edge or having that trendy ‘unique selling point’, it’s simply the way things should be done, it’s the way this business is run and is at the heart of its values. From the paints that are used, to the elimination of single use plastics and recyclable or reusable tools, dust sheets, floor protection and even workwear.

I have also chosen to support a local charity called TREEACTIONUK. They are a not for profit community company that organises tree planting events in schools, colleges, public spaces and on private land to improve the environment, tackle climate change and most importantly improve the mental wellbeing of young people through connecting them with nature.
