Pardons

Grade II listed Georgian house in the heart of Ditchling.

I was asked to bring the front elevation of the property back to its former glory after years of neglect and bad painting.

It was agreed that all the old black paintwork was to be painstakingly removed, revealing all the lovely details that were hiding underneath and allowing me to see where any repairs were needed.

I believe the windows to be originals and had not suffered too badly considering. With only some resin repairs needed in the bottom corners and some of the oak sills.

Interior

Internally I have carried out work on several areas. The boldest being the dining room.

All of the panelling needed repairing due to cracking and poor material choice from previous attempts. Once all the paintwork was hand finished, the walls were papered in a House of Hackney paper and the brass work and hearth cleaned and polished.
